We build solid wood reels (also called spools or cable drums) for winding, storing and distributing electrical cable, fiber optics, industrial hose and flexible tubing. Available from small sizes up to large-diameter industrial reels.
The side flanges are made from glued pine boards cut on a high-precision circular saw. The central drum is assembled from solid wood battens. Everything is nailed with industrial pneumatic guns for maximum strength.
No particleboard, no flimsy materials. Solid domestic pine built to carry the weight of the cable and withstand forklift handling.
We build flange diameter, drum width and bore diameter to the exact specifications of the cable or hose being wound.
Engineered to carry the full weight of the reel when loaded, compatible with standard forklift forks.
The durability of solid wood allows multiple use cycles, lowering cost per unit over time.
Squareness, flange concentricity and structural strength inspected on every unit built. Documented records by lot.
Capacity for large production runs with competitive lead times. Ideal for infrastructure and distribution projects.
We receive flange diameter, drum width, bore diameter and estimated load.
01Pine boards are cut and glued to form the flanges, then dried and checked for flatness.
02Flanges are cut on a high-precision circular saw for exact diameter and a perfectly concentric finish.
03The drum is assembled to the flanges by pneumatic nailing. Final inspection and delivery coordinated with your logistics team.
04Send us diameter, width and cable type. We'll quote within 24 hours.
